This book… there are so many words that come to mind to describe this book: stunning, beautiful, colourful, entertaining, must-have, breathtaking, eye-catching… perfect for every Bibliophile.
Through illustrations, Jane Mount categorizes and lists must read books in every category, interjecting her book lists with lists of notable, and amazing, book stores and libraries throughout the world. Each page reveals a new list with beautiful and vibrant illustrations; I found myself needing to keep a notebook and pen with me while I looked through this book as I added to my “to read” list.
What I love most about this book is that the concept is so simple; this is something that most book lovers probably do themselves, either on paper or in their heads – list their favourite books. This book has brought that concept to life in a stunning way.
This books makes a perfect addition to a coffee table or bookshelf – I cannot think of a better holiday present for a book lover this holiday season!
